We will meet at a designated meeting point and start from there. First things first, SAFETY! We will go over the basics about sea kayaking and safety on the water, as well as we will distribute to you water and snacks.
After we all are set to get on the water, we will start to paddle towards the island we will visit, Prvić, where we’ll make a break for swimming and snorkeling. Prvić is small inhabited island with two settlements, Šepurine i Prvić luka, famous for its citizen from 16th century, Faust Vrančić, an inventor of a parachute.
After a break we will head towards the island of Tijat, an uninhabited island with a beautiful bay, popular amongst sailors as it gives a great protection from the wind. We will have another stop for swimming and snorkeling, and head back to Zlarin after the break.
NOTE: Route can be determined on spot based on the weather forecast and group ability. However, the route will be with the area marked on the map. If departure point is not from Zlarin the route can be changed.
This itinerary is subject to change due to group abilities, weather, water levels, or special events of interest, and to avoid unnecessary risk or discomfort. In the case of severe weather, we reserve the right to conduct alternate and/or substituted programming without prior notice.
Gear to Bring: swim suit/shorts, towel, sun protection supplies, long sleeve rash guard highly recommended, a hat, and water shoes.
